I noticed that in life, some people have this belief that people are supposed to hand them everything they want just because of the closeness between them, be it their family members, their friends, and their colleagues.
"The world doesn't owe you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." - Mark Twain
In life, you will come across many people who will do things for you. They may be your family, friends, or even strangers. But it is important to remember that no one owes you anything.
This does not mean that people will not be kind to you or help you out when you need it. But it does mean that you should not expect anything from them. If someone does something for you, be grateful and appreciate it. But do not take it for granted or feel entitled to their help.
When you understand that no one owes you anything, it can be liberating. It frees you from the expectation that others will take care of you. It also allows you to focus on your own happiness and success.
Of course, there are times when people will do things for you out of love or kindness. But these are gifts, not entitlements. Be grateful for them, but do not expect them.
The sooner you learn that no one owes you anything, the sooner you can start living your life to the fullest.
So, go out there and work for your shit.
Stop waiting for handouts or favors from people or you might end up getting dissapointed. People do not owe you!
Real. People really need to read and digest this concept.
